Ever since my grandmother introduced five-year old me to Rogers and Hammerstein’s The Sound of Music, I was locked in the world of storytelling. It lit up an idea of becoming an actress, singer and dancer to entertain, but also inspire others to look at history, question society and take a stand - and have the courage to do so through love and gratitude.
Therefore, after graduating high school in Stockholm, Sweden, I moved to reside in New York and follow through with my desire of becoming a performing artist.
Two years later, I am now a proud graduate from the Professional Conservatory of Musical Theatre at the New York Film Academy, where I studied Musical Theatre and Acting for Film/TV under multiple Broadway performers and professionals, including Kristy Cates, Todd Buonapane, Deidre Goodwin, Kevin David Thomas and Bobby Cronin.
Since then, I have been part of new musical readings and originated the role of Bethany in the movie musical Hold Your Peace. Most recently (this summer) I had the pleasure of being an opening band singer for the Swedish rock band, The Poodles, on a charitable tour.
As a world citizen, I feel a social responsibility to give back and prevent inequality. Therefore, I am a proud ambassador of the organisation DoGoodNow Global, where we prevent human slavery and trafficking. To be a part of it and learn more, please vist www.dogoodnowglobal.com.
